Starting Pilates

If you're interested in trying Pilates but unsure where to start, we recommend booking a Reformer Fundamentals session. This introductory class will teach you the basics and set you up for success on your Pilates journey.

  • While the Reformer equipment may seem daunting at first, it's designed to challenge and support you throughout the class.

Our experienced teachers are here to guide you, adapting and modifying the exercises as needed. You don't need to be flexible, strong, or fit to participate – we welcome all levels.

If you prefer a floor-based class, our Mat Pilates offering provides an excellent introduction to the core principles of the practice.

  • Pilates is an excellent form of exercise that offers a wide range of benefits for both the body and mind.

Through a series of controlled movements, Pilates works to lengthen and tone the muscles, improve flexibility, build strength and enhance body awareness.

Pilates also has a strong mental component, encouraging practitioners to be present in the moment and tune into their breathing and bodily sensations.

This mind-body connection can lead to reduced stress and anxiety, as well as a greater sense of calm and focus.

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes early for your first session. This will allow your instructor to welcome you, introduce you to the Reformer equipment, and provide an overview before the class begins.

Our experienced and welcoming teachers are dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience in our beautiful studio.

  • We offer class drop-in and package options for all class types, so you can attend as frequently as you'd like. See the Pricing page for more details.
